Michael Shelichach has been teaching courses in first-year writing and British and world literature since 2012. Before coming to Barnard, he taught at Queens College, Yeshiva University, Marymount Manhattan College, and Lehman College, where he also served as a Writing Across the Curriculum Fellow. He holds a Ph.D. in English from The CUNY Graduate Center and B.A. in English from The College of New Jersey. His interests include Victorian and Modernist literature, cultural and narrative theory, and ecocriticism.
